In 2018 we open our first-of-its-kind outdoor body transformation centre in Cambridge – which combines group fitness training, nutrition and personal development mindset coaching.
 
After successfully growing the first location, we are opening a second and third location within the Cambridgeshire area.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, hard working, and energetic person to start training some of our clients.
 
We currently offer group fitness and nutrition programs, which motivate, educate and support people to improve their health, fitness and performance.
 
If you are hired for this coaching position, you’ll begin coaching clients at our outdoor transformation centres. The majority of hours will be early morning and evening times.
 
Our outdoor centres offer a casual, fun environment, nice training equipment and the opportunity to learn the inner-workings of a successful fitness business.
 
Oh yeah, we’re also very fair, respectful and appreciative. We like having fun and we are committed to providing highly valuable fitness services and products.
 
You will be compensated fairly, treated fairly and we will certainly look for ways to pay you more for your efforts if they warrant it.

Here's The Type of Person We're Looking For:

As part of our team you’ll be getting weekly education and training on how to create real lasting change in clients’ lives.
 
This is a lot more than what the certification companies ever teach you. We take a more holistic and coaching-based approach that the fitness and health industry isn’t focusing on right now.
 
From change psychology and personal development to building strong relationships and rapport, we will help you become an Expert Coach within a very short time (not just an instructor).
 
After just a few months on our team you’ll have benefited from learning directly from Joe Mitton, who’s performed more than 10,000 coaching sessions in fitness and has transformed hundreds of people’s bodies and confidence.
 
Our coaches will need to be seen as local experts and to help you internalise what we teach you, you will be teaching it to others.
 
You don’t need to be a good public speaker YET – when you’re ready, we will show you how to speak in front of crowds, and how to write expert content.
 
If you think you already ‘know it all’ about health and fitness, this is NOT for you.

To be the best you have to stay on top. We’ll make you the best around, but you have to be prepared to learn.

Tasks we'll need you to perform:

You’ll receive coaching and training on our fitness system and programs, but you’ll be expected to deliver them in a fun, enthusiastic, educational and supportive manner.

In order to ensure a client’s success in our programs, you’ll need to track weekly progress, current successes and challenges, review client nutrition and more on a weekly basis.
 
It will be your job to hold clients accountable to his/her health and fitness program to ensure the best results possible.
This is a big one. We need you to be able to provide proper coaching, instruction and motivation during a client training session.
 
You should have a working knowledge of the human body (i.e. muscles, movements, functions etc.) and be able to provide appropriate exercises for client’s goals.
Our clients rely on us to service all of their health and fitness needs.
 
It’s your job as a fitness coach to provide our clients with health and fitness education on various topics that will empower them to lead healthy lives forever.
 
You’ll be provided with educational tools and resources and will be expected to study them and speak about them with your clients.
 
We also spend time covering this in our weekly staff meetings.

Required Skills

These are the skills you must already have in order to qualify for this position:

You will be talking with our clients, who are VERY important to us. You must be comfortable conversing in-person and on the phone and know how to conduct yourself professionally and deliver clear instructions to the clients. We’ll teach you everything you need to do during a training session, but we can’t teach you manners and professionalism.

You must LOVE working with people! As mentioned above you must be very comfortable working with people. This is an exciting outdoor training centre and you must be able to show your clients energy and excitement while working with them.

You need experience working in a gym or as a Personal Trainer for at least 6 months and you should have a working knowledge of health and fitness.

If you have these additional skills, your resume will go right to the top of the stack (but if you don’t have these skills, you should still apply because these are not compulsory).
 
– Minimum 1 year previous personal training experience (fitness studio, health club, in-home trainer, etc.)
 
– Testimonials or Before/After photos with clients you’ve successfully helped to make a physical/mental improvement
 
– Basic nutrition knowledge
 
– National Certification
 
– Kinesiology/Sports Science Degree
 
– First Aid Certified
